Andre Harihandoyo (born August 14, 1984) is a Indonesian-born singer-songwriter and producer, best known as the lead vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist for the AHSP ( Andre Harihandoyo & Sonic People | 2006 - 2018 ). Andre was born in Surabaya, and lived in Jakarta while growing up. Andre mainly plays both acoustic and electric guitar, which he started playing at the age of thirteen. From 2000 to 2005, Andre predominantly focused on songwriting, guitar playing and music recording, not until 2006 Andre started performing with the AHSP, which he started in 2006. Since then, he has also done various solo performances and produced other records
AHSP released their first album, Good for the Soul, in 2009. The first single "The Breakup" became hits on radio charts, the second "The Flood Song" was nominated for several music awards in the "Best Folk Music" category, while the album itself made it to Rolling Stone's best 20 Indonesian album 2009
Since AHSP, Andre continues on his solo projects and sometimes a blues trio. He released his second solo album "BENT NOTES JUKEBOX" on April 2018. While still active on releasing new solo records every now and then, he's not as active as before on stage performances. Nowadays, Andre is more known as a music producer and movie producer/director. He co-founded RIVER AUDIO POST PRODUCTION, and is the founder of BRADDER CREATIVE production facility.
